Kapaka and Lynn Alexander

Join us as we kick off our market at 10 o’clock for a performance by Kapaka, a favorite local folk string band enjoyed by shoppers over the past several years. Kapaka is a trio out of Eugene featuring Americana music in tight three part harmony. Vocalists Kathy Mezger, Patti Lomont & Karen Perkins are backed with guitar, mandolin, autoharp and a diverse collection of ukuleles. Weave a visit to the market into your schedule so you’ll be sure to catch their performance!
At Noon we’ll be welcoming Lynn Alexander, an accomplished singer/songwriter who has performed in a number of venues in and around Eugene. Lynn’s journey has carried her across continents, but it’s in Eugene that her voice as a songwriter has fully come into focus. Her work explores transition, growth, and the subtle moments that send life in a new direction.
Many in the local scene may know her from the Song Circle she hosted in her home for several years—an experience that helped shape the collaborative spirit she brings to her work today.
As co-founder of the Songwriters Support Group, she’s also helping build a space for others to develop their voice—something that continues to shape and sharpen her own. Her songs invite you to listen closely—not just to the music, but to the moments where something begins to shift.
